Set up your account
The two questions a new account answers before its trial starts, and what happens when you sign up with a personal email address.
A new account answers two short steps before it reaches the dashboard: About you and Goals. Nothing needs a document to hand. Your first safety data sheets go in afterwards, from the dashboard.
About you
Under Personalize your workspace, fill in:
- Company Name
- Country
- Your role: what you do, such as HSE or procurement. It is not a permission.
- Primary SDS language: the language your team prefers its safety data sheets in. You can change it later in team settings.
- Phone number, if you want to give one.
Select Continue.
Goals
What do you want to get done first? Tick everything that applies, then select Continue. This finishes the setup and starts your team's trial.
You are all set confirms it. Select Open my dashboard to start.
If you leave halfway, your answers are kept, and you pick up where you stopped the next time you sign in.
Signing up with a personal email address
NextSDS is for companies. When you sign up with a personal address, for example through a Google account, Business email required asks for your work address before the setup starts.
- Enter it under Work email address and select Continue with work email.
- NextSDS sends a code to that address. Enter it under Check your inbox.
Your account then continues under the work address, and from then on you sign in with it. If the work address already has an account, the code signs you into that one. Use another address goes back a step, and Sign out leaves without continuing.
