Manage a product's details

Open a product record, read its overview, and review the SDS documents and supporting details attached to it.

A product links one or more SDS documents to your actual inventory: how much you store, where, and its procurement status.

Open a product's record

Select View Product on any library row to open its record. Rows without a linked product show View PDF instead, which opens the SDS file directly.

Check the product overview

The Overview tab summarises the product: identity fields, applied labels and workplaces, linked SDS documents, and previews of attachments, product data, and comments. Select Manage on any section to jump to its full tab.

When a newer revision of the primary sheet exists, a Newer version available link appears here and takes you straight to the comparison. Edit the SKU, EAN, or alternate name directly from this tab.

The Related SDSs tab groups the SDS documents connected to this product into four lists: Linked SDS files, Newer versions, Market variants and Translations. A crown marks the primary sheet, and each list shows the version, language, markets, revision date and quality grade.

The options menu on a row holds SDS Details, View PDF, Make Primary, Archive SDS and Remove from Product. On any sheet that is not already the primary it also holds Compare with Primary, which opens the version comparison.

The Risk assessments tab lists every workplace that stores this product, with its latest RECESS score and EMKG assessment, if any. Workplaces without an assessment yet still appear in the list, so you can start one from there. See Risk assessments.
